Insect

In this project the objective is to create a photorealistic insect. After creating the insect, I then animated a set of motions and then integrate it into a live action plate.

Still life

Abilities to replicate fine details and accuracies of a small object was the main focus of this project. It put an emphasis on weathered textures coupled with creating photorealistic shaders and lighting.

Spoon Bend

Using the "Spoon Boy" telekinesis sequence from the popular "Matrix" film as inspiration, I've recreated my own version of the spoon bend. Key integration challenges include working with actor eye lines, environment/actor reflections, matching lighting, interactive shadows, tracking, matting and color correction.

Ghost

In this project I worked entirely from within Adobe After Effects to blend together a green screen actor with practical smoke elements shot on black.

Saucer

The ship design is based on the classic flying “saucer/disc” as seen in “Mars Attacks.” This project required a 3D camera track of hand held footage. There is an emphasis on integration elements such as shadows, reflections, and interactive light. This project required the study of techniques (modeling/texturing/animation/lighting) to imply scale.

Product Shot

The main focus was on composition, lighting and rendering to achieve a clear and powerful brand statement in a fully computer-generated shot.
